What if I am really out of shape? Will I be able to keep up?
Absolutely! Your coach will push you to work as hard as you can, but you will always work at your own level. In each class you will be able to choose if you want to do low or high-intensity variations of every drill and exercise we do. I have an injury and cannot perform certain exercises. Can I still do class?
Yes! Our coaches make sure to get to know each girl personally so we can help you modify any exercise that doesn't work for you. Just let us know if any exercise causes pain and we'll make sure you have a safe, effective alternate exercise! Make sure to check with your physician prior to beginning classes if you have an undiagnosed injury.
What if I am gone a week or more during the month?
If you miss a week of classes you can make up those classes any time during the month; the online system will allow you to make extra reservations the weeks before or after. If you will be gone two consecutive weeks, we allow a one-time per season vacation freeze. Just give us a call!
What should I bring?
Be sure to bring water! Morning students please bring a towel in case the grass is damp. BuffÖm students bring your yoga mat. Buff Moms, bring your child with a water bottle and towel, as well as anything else they might need (snack, water, sweatshirt, sunscreen).
What should I wear?
Dress for the weather; generally layers are best. Wear good running or cross-training shoes, and beware of the sun--bring a hat or sunscreen for those sunny days!
What do we do in class?
Buff Moms, Chix, and Beginnings: Each class includes a 10-min warm up, 15 min of upper or lower body strength work, 20 min of cardio, and 15 min of core, abs, and stretching.
What does my child do in his/her class?
Your child will work with his or her "Kid Coach" on developmentally appropriate games, drills and exercises for 30 min. Activities focus on movement and developing coordination, balance, and agility. This is followed by 30 min of supervised unstructured free play with the other kids.
What if it rains or snows?
We don't cancel class unless the weather is REALLY bad, but in the event your class is cancelled due to inclement weather (i.e. rain, snow, lightning, etc), your instructor will send an email to their entire class list no later than 45 min prior to class start time (so make sure we have an updated email address for you!)
How do I register?
You can sign up online 24 hours a day or you can call us at 720-280-1600. Once you have registered online for your 2-day, 3-day/week membership, or unlimited-class membership, you must make a reservation for each class you want to attend each week. You can do this all at once, or log on daily or weekly to make reservations.
